Read about a place called Bhoga Nandeshwara temple near Nandi hills, supposedly a confluence of multiple architectural styles and a temple whose construction is said to have started in 810 AD.

I left Bangalore by 2 PM and took bus to Doddaballapur from where I took an auto so as to reach Bogha Nandeshwara temple by 5 PM. I reached by 5:15.

I resumed my walk to Naglapura and after an hour or so, passed a village. The sun was right overhead. There was a house by the side of the road where two boys were lazing around and I asked them the distance to Naglapura and they told it was another 10 KMs or more.

Next day morning, I took a bus to Nuggehalli and the plan was to walk to Didaga and then to Naglapura, a total distance of 20 or so Kilometers. The Nuggehalli temples, once pure breed Hoysala style have been augmented with later day construction.
